Growing up in Cleveland, as a young kid, TayShon was the helpless victim of a crossfire shooting while walking home with his younger brother.

An aspiring basketball player, TayShon’s dreams were stolen from him as result of his injury. However, he is determined to write a new story and walk again. It is his hope to one day return to the basketball court.

Getting Back Up is proud to support TayShon with an exercise-based therapy scholarship to Buckeye Wellness Center in Valley View, Ohio.
