A quick dive into the family pool left Leslie with a broken neck and completely paralyzed. However, Leslie is a fighter with an unwavering spirit who continues to work hard and believes he will one day walk again.

A former college football athlete and Marine, Leslie is no stranger to adversity and hard work. He is grateful for how far he has come since his fateful venture into that shallow water and considers himself blessed.

Getting Back Up is proud to support Leslie with an exercise-based therapy scholarship to Journey Forward in Canton, Massachusetts.
