Growing up, Ellen’s life revolved around softball. As soon as she was old enough to walk she fell in love with the game and was even headed off to college to play softball.

However, a few weeks before she left she was in a devastating car accident which left her paralyzed, as well as with a traumatic brain injury. Through hard work, determination, and faith, Ellen has achieved remarkable recovery and still isn’t done. She even moved to Florida to focus full-time on her recovery.

Getting Back Up is proud to support Ellen with an exercise-based therapy scholarship to NextStep in Orlando, Florida.
